Windows 1803 update has f*%ked things up

So I have had 2 phone calls the last 2 weeks from different people saying they're having issues with Hard drives, mainly SSDs since updating, even trying a new sata cable a fresh install I thought I had lost hope until I saw a Jayztwocents video explaining what has been happening.
