Thought i could intrest people again in the banner competition, so i plagiarized @RobinHood :

Hey all,

It's that time of year again and we're ready for your Lanzone banner submissions.

The best ones will be printed out on my big ass printers at and displayed in all their glory at the lan.

Some examples of previous ones can be found here, or browse through the old lanzone forums.

They should ideally be 300dpi and CMYK.
If you're working in Photoshop, save the final image for print out as a max quality jpeg.
A1's and A2's and A0's are good standard sizes.
If it's a banner then the height of the banner should match one of the standard roll sizes I print onto:
600mm, 900mm and 1060mm. The length of the banner can be as long as you like as it's a roll.

If you don't have Photoshop you can use Gimp which is free, alternatively the site has some image editors built in.

the basic editor: http://www.fffsquad.com/pages/pixlr-express/
the advanced editor (similar to Photoshop, recommended).: http://www.fffsquad.com/pages/pixlr-advanced/

for good quality copies of the FFF logo: http://www.fffsquad.com/threads/fff-logo-files.1114/

Have fun!
