I just added browser push notifications to the site, you can subscribe in Chrome, Firefox and Safari on desktop.
It should also work on Android devices devices too.
You probably already received a prompt when you visited the site most recently, you can subscribe or unsubscribe using the bell in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
If doing it for the first time, it will prompt your browser to request permission for the forum to send you push notifications, you need to allow this.
If you accidentally already denied the browser permission, then you can enable it in the browser settings for this website. It's slightly different for each browser, but this is how you edit the notifications settings for a specific domain in chrome:
