You may or may not have noticed that I've had a shuffle around on the front page.
We now have a new fancy transitioning news banner that will rotate between specified threads (currently those in the 'Home Page News' forum)
It will use the title of the thread for the title in the banner, and you can even include the first few sentences of text from the thread, but I've turned that off for now.
The image it uses it grabs from any image that's uploaded to the thread called 'slide.jpg'
So if you have an image you want to use, rename it to 'slide.jpg' then upload it to the original post in the thread and the news banner will pick it up.
There are other settings too such as how many articles are displayed, if anyone else starts to update it I'll show them how to use this.
