I got the logitech g110. Got it for a while now. Works fine for fps. Don't know about mmorpg's.
Just bought it at the time cause it had illuminated keys

I have a logitech gaming pad g13 still in the box needing to be tried out.

I use a G-510 .. was using a G-15 untill i wore the black off the keys lol .. .. logitech sent me this to replace the G-15 ... BUT the same is happening to my
G-510... .. iv already spoken to them and looking to replace my G-510 with a G-19 ... fingers crossed .. so answer to your question, would be, what ever u feel comfortable with i suppose ...
the only reason i bought the G-series is because its back lit tbh .

I also use the G510. Works fine, only I don't use the G keys in FPS.
Only use them in WOW. the illuminated keys are easy in the evening.

7 years I've been using my G15 and never had that problem, I suggest you stop fapping on your keyboard as it must be stripping the paint when your trying to scrape it off.

Yeah still got my first gen G15, still works fine just backlight has dimmed over the years but can still see them all clearly but I got myself a G510 now after I took Acey's advice and contacted Logitech about trying to get the backlight replaced but all they could do was offer me a 50% discount at their store, hence the G510.

Gonna give my G15 to my sister to try help her get her computer up to some sort of decent condition but I recommend either of them but with the G510 you can adjust the backlight to quite a few colours to match your colour scheme of your fans on your comp maybe or you can go balls to the wall in the G range and get a G19

ill think for fps the best keyboard is the razer Deathstalker because of its really fast, and easy to see your stats on the little screen right of your keyboard so u dont have to push TAB http://www.razerzone.com/store/razer-deathstalker-ultimate

for mmorpg the best keyboard is stealseries Zboard, because u can costomize it to your gaming wishes. and pust some limited pices on it:

im using the logitech g 19 its good for both because of it has a lot of G keys and macros

I got my G15 because of the LCD screen so i can see who joined TS etc, back lit keys dont bother me tbh, and who the hell looks at their keys when playing FPS lmao
