BF4 server rotations

i spoke with a couple of people at somepoint last month regarding map and game type rotations and thought about adding some specific rotations such as a rush day or mixed mode day.

I know we gathered that having a permanent mixed mode server would perhaps cause ratings to drop. so i have found a plugin that allows us to set up for example; Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday could be the current set up which is HC Conquest standard maps

and could do tuesday and thursday as new dlc maps and then perhaps saturday as rush day.

Well atm m8 the server aint to busy because not everyone has the DLC's... so how about setting the server up like, new map, old map, new map, etc etc??
i dout it will work but hey suppose we can try... and if im honest i think setting it up day by day, game type by game type, wont populate much and we will
be just sitting in it waiting for it to fill?

Its not hard to find a rush/dom server for only 3/4 members to game together, if we fancy a change from conquest.

I think if there was 10+ members on at one time then the server wouldn't be so hard to fill up, and used alot more, and when mixing it up, it wouldn't be so
hard to get the server started.

I was thinking about this last night and I think the whole ranking thing is a bit of a double edged sword.

Theres a lot of talk about rankings dropping and it got me thinking do we have this server with the aim of getting it highly ranked to give the clan more publicity or have we got this server so we can play on it? Heres where it gets tricky though if the ranking of the server is pretty low then its not going to fill up as quick potentially so we won't be able to use it as much.

As Acey touched on if the bf4 side of the clan grows server ranking won't really mean much to be honest as we will have enough clan members to get it going.

For me if there is a new map pack I want to play it, if that means I have to play on a different server than ours then I will, would I rather play on ours, of course, does it bother me, no not really.

ok thats fine our server does have the new maps on.

i only brought it up as someone suggested it and now that i had found a plugin that does it all automatically, i thought i would bring it up thats all.

Hi Dev,

you goto multiplayer, serverbrowser and filter servers by servername (put fff in the search box)

Yes Devils the server should be up. its on Conquest at the moment.
