Hi Folks

My PC was running fine then all of a sudden the graphics went funny and it crashed. I restarted it and can see the BIOS Screen, Windows Logo and then once it loads to the login screen the screen either goes black or a purple background with horizontal lines. The only way I can access the desktop is by booting into Safe Mode and disabling the GPU drivers so it uses the Microsoft Basic Display Drivers.

I thought it could be a problem with the drivers so I've re installed Windows and same problem. Tried a different GPU of the same model and its working perfectly fine.

Wondering if any of you guys have any tips? If not do any of you have any PCI-E GPUs for sale?

I put a graphics card like that in the oven for 20 mins, cured it for a couple of months. might be worth a try. There are lots of guides out there about timings and stuff.

and no this isn't a piss take :p

It's semi working so I don't want to risk it.
