help with CoDWAW

hey peeps, i got the new cod game off of santa for christmas, i\'ve installed blablabla, but cant get it to work, i get the opening screen, then my pc just gets a black screen and i cant do any thing about it, i cant even get back to desktop and i have to restar pc. I\'ve just updated my DirectX and am currently updating my graphics driver to see if that helps, if not, any idea\'s??

ok so i ixed my black screen, it was my Firewall, but now i cant find any servers to join, and yes, i have patched, 1.1 i think.
