Hey All, Sorry haven't been around much the past week or two been having some issues with my GPU as stated below

GTX 970 suffers from a design flaw, according to an investigation by power-users. GPU memory benchmarks run on GeForce GTX 970 show that the GPU is not able to address the last 700 MB of its 4 GB of memory.

The "GTX 970 memory bug," as it's now being called on tech forums, is being attributed to user-reports of micro-stutter noticed on GTX 970 setups, in VRAM-intensive gaming scenarios. The GeForce GTX 980, on the other hand, isn't showing signs of this bug, the card is able to address its entire 4 GB. When flooded with posts about the investigation on OCN, a forum moderator on the official NVIDIA forums responded: "we are still looking into this and will have an update as soon as possible."

So will be back on COD soon as its sorted but will still pop on TS to say Hi and listen to you all enjoing the non laggy game we all love,LOL

Gotta love gay nvidia sometimes :-( will keep looking on twitter for info, I know nvidias Dev team are aware of this and are figuring out what step to take now.

i feel a refund or replacement is in order. Doubtfull a new driver for the card can fix that problem....

allready said it and i'm saying it again, a driver update can't fix the issue.... only thing is to replace all cards. Don't think nvidea got more options..

Some reasonable comments on this reddit thread, while 'technically' it's a potential issue due to mis-selling aspect. In reality the effect really only depends on what resolutions you play and you also have to keep in perspective the performance to cost ratio of these cards vs a 980 even with the RAM issue

That's true Robin, but if they promise a certain performance they should deliver just that. No matter what the cost is compared to others.

Hopefully this is a stand alone misfortune for nvidea, but it will be an extra concern for people who want to build a better pc in the future.
Untill now i bought the latest hardware when building a pc, so it could run all applications for at least a year or 2.

Next time i'm not to sure about that. Maybe it is going to be the second best piece then..

Hopefully they can sort it out for the people that are affected one way or the other. In the first place offcourse for Baggi3s.

I think they should give all 970 users a free game, with their sponsors or deals it wont cost them squat, mine works fine but it will teach them to lie
