MW3 First impressions

Hmmmmmmmmmm!

Well, where do I start? My first impressions will mean I have to make an apology to my former clan leader.
I love all the COD games but my first take on this is very poor. It feels clunky when moving, you feel like its Benny Hill. Nothing like MW2.
The Graphics are OK but a bit like a cartoon. This game is obviously aimed at the Console Market.

The maps are small, it's basically an arena game. I preferred Black Op's and COD4.
The worst part about this game is the always waiting to join or load. I thought they would have sorted this out after MW2!!!

The best part this game has to offer is the Progressions and Menu load outs. I do like the way that perks work on this game.

I can't see how this will work for Team/league matches.

I was given BF3 as a stop gap an was very excited about MW3 but if I am honest with you I think it will be the other way around.
Naturally I will play what you guys do but the game feels totally alien on my first take. Perhaps it will grow on me but I'm giving it 7/10 and now have to go and say sorry to my mate Toesy. He was right MW3 is PANTS!

My thoughts are the same silver.

Played it today for a few hours and was very very disappointed to say the least,sorry I wasted my money to be honest as to me it's just like playing MW2 which I still have in my steam.
GFX are total pants, join wait is pathetic, the kill streak system is up the wall, spawning in game is like being on a London tube at 8,o'clock in the morning....
Only plus side for me is the detailed weapons they look very good.
Wars and stuff not sure on, think you can have certain servers so there will be options to do wars, train ect ect, on the whole totally gutted about it, let's see what happens, and yes BF3 is far superior upto now....

Can't agree more. Hugely disappointed in mw3. It feels like a 2 year old game. After playing the multiplayer a little while I decided to try out the single player. Once I finish the campaign I can safely say I'll be going back to BF3.

I agree with Silver, all this hype about how good MW3 was going be is total crap! It is just the same as MW2 with all the
problems that had. And as for having no control over the dedicated servers is no use to anyone. I think Bf3 have won this
one hands down.

Have to say I agree with all previous comments,I may not have been playing online for as long as the majority here but it just feels old even to me,although I must admit I do like the campaign.

I loved al the Cod games.... but this one i hate... :I i think ill wait for black ops 2.. because yes, even the first black ops is superiour to MW3 in my opinion.. :wacko: never thought i would say this but..: i like bf3 now more!

At least we know who designed their maps for them...............................wait maybe im giving MW3 too much credit, spawning in Babo Violent is far better thought out(for a free game).

What I find good are the perks and the weapon close ups but as for maps too small graphics are worst i have seen for a long time dont like all the bad bits about Battlefield 3 either tho so looks as tho i might have to go back to playing arma 2 unless the game turns out to be better on our server as I just dont like the way it plays at the min!!!

What a dissapointment !!!!!! What was all the hype about ???? I haven't been into gaming for long, but expected much more from MW3. Feel like crying about the money I wasted. Guess I'll have to play it because I bought it !?!?

I agree.. Very disappointed. BF3 is far superios this time. This just feel like an MW2 Expansion pack.. Nothing feels new or breathtaking in this game. It's a sad fact to admit, as I've been playing COD since the beginning and expected much more than this... :err:
