Thunderbolt brings the next step for laptops

I'm not sure if people have heard about how awesome thunderbolt really is than just a cable with massive bandwidth. But anyway, this video shows how close we are to being able to use external graphics cards by using a thunderbolt pcie enclosure.
I for one am a little upset my laptop doesn't have thunderbolt.

That looks amazing. I'd almost be happy to ditch my desktop if I could get a decent laptop graphics solution like that to work with my Macbook
