Hello Everybody

Last night I was having some issues with Team Speak 3. I heard myself loud and clear on my own speakers but for some strange reason my voice wasn\'t heard often/at all by the other users on the server.

Using the push to talk, didn\'t help much and auto detect speak didn\'t do much either.

Anybody have any suggestions on settings that might do the trick?

I\'m also on the lookout for a new mic or perhaps mic/headphone combo? So any suggestions are welcome!

FYI: So far I\'m running a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz 4 GB RAM Win 7 with Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum Pro ZS and the Gigaworks S750 speaker system with some cheap ass \'borrowed\' mic ;-)

Lo Red, situation with Headset and mic........ last week i passed some info onto Kitto about buying a new Headset/mic telling him the one i have and used for a number of year which for me and alot of other gamers around the world is superb.
Steel Series 5H v2 either Jack or USB will do the Trick, see how much you can get it for and consider buying it , very good quality indeed.

Continueing on my speech problem in TS:

The thing that\'s bothering me is that on my own speaker set i hear myself just fine (besides the heavy breathing and coughing ;-))

I\'ve been doing some research on the robotic voice issue (although some of it results in much laughter with everybody else), and I came across this topic on the TS forums.
http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthread.php/60751-Robotic-Sounded-Voices?highlight=robotic+voice

So this could be a bandwidth problem on my behalf? Any ideas on solving this? Besides changing the channel/server codec?

You manage to get this sorted redwolf?

You shouldn\'t be able to hear your own voice in your speakers (or headphones) at all, only time that happens usually is if you\'re getting feedback through someone elses mike.
