I believe you only have 1 year to get it for free which is awesome, I had windows 7 and got a email saying I could upgrade to windows 8 for £25 a few years back, best thing I did lol, can't wait for windows 10, upto a 50% boost in games with direct x 12 so epic.

Lets hope it converts alot quicker than they did to windows 8 from 7, I waited ages for a decent driver to come out for bf3 when I upgraded to 8
